Almost 800 researchers, clinicians, industry partners, policymakers and further stakeholders from 36 countries attended the LifeTime Conference 2.0 on June 16 & 17 which took place as a virtual event. The goal of the pan-European LifeTime Initiative, which had its Opening Conference two years ago in Berlin, is to understand human diseases better in order to tackle them even before the healthy path is left. This overarching aim can be achieved by the combination of three main pillars i) single-cell multi-omics and imaging, ii) artificial intelligence and machine learning and iii) patient-derived experimental disease models, which build the foundation of the LifeTime Initiative.
